If you've booked with me, you've probably already heard me talk about the "Day Of" list of things that I need you to gather and have in one place for me on the wedding day. At a typical wedding, the details photos are the first thing I'll do when I arrive so having it all in one place with the smaller items in a bag or box waiting for me is definitely ideal for the sake of time.
1. All paper items (2 copies of: invitation with envelopes, save the date with envelopes and wedding programs, and any other paper items like pretty vow books, etc).
2. Wedding gown & veil (and any other accessories like belts or capes).
3. Garter.
4. Other items like your perfume, heirloom handkerchiefs, and any special items for you as a couple.
5. Cleaned rings (his, yours, and your wedding band) – a side note, once you have them cleaned, do not wear them again. Every little smudge shows in photos.
6. Jewelry you plan to wear – necklace, earrings, bracelets, cufflinks, watch, etc.
7. Your something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.
8. Shoes. Every pair you’re going to wear.
9. Grooms clothes & details (including shoes, tie/suspenders, handkerchief, tie pin & cufflinks, watch, etc).
10. Your gift for him (and he definitely should have his gift for you handy in the men's getting ready area).
BONUS TIP: If possible, have your florals (especially your bouquet) arrive right before I am scheduled to start. I'll incorporate your flowers into your details for an extra special touch!
